Meta’s Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Bosworth, has told some employees to leave the company if they don’t agree with the company’s policies. aftter a discussion on meta’s internal Workplace forum, according to a report by Business Insider.
Bosworth shared an article from The Verge about CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s comments in an all hands meeting. the entire meeting had been leaked and suggested this way Meta had changed its format.
The report cites an internal chat where an amployee criticized meta for cutting DEI programs and limiting internal discussions.
Andrew Bosworth responded that any staffer who thinks it’s ok to leak to media because of policy disagreements “should consider working elsewhere”.
